What do we do? Agro Division The Agro Division, founded on December 1st, 2007 on the division of the FosChem Division, operates based on two manufacturing companies of Ciech. The two companies are Gdańskie Zakłady Nawozów Fosforowych Fosfory and Zakłady Chemiczne Alwernia. Establishment of the Agro Division took place as a result of the Ciech Chemical Group strategy for 2007 - 2011, which provides for the creation of a strong position in sectors working for agriculture purposes... Organic Division Established in January 2007, the Organic Division is today the largest division of the Ciech Chemical Group. This project to create a separate division in charge of organic products came into being during preparations for floating of the Group on the stock exchange. In December 2006, after the purchases of Zakłady Chemiczne Zachem and Organika-Sarzyna had been finalised, the potential of the Ciech Group almost doubled. Acquisition of these companies contributed to expansion of the Ciech Chemical Group portfolio by products which ensure a leading position of the Group in the domestic market for epoxy resins, polyester resins, TDI, epichlorohydrin and plant protection agents... Soda Division The purchase of the domestic soda complex in 1996 consisting of Inowrocławskie Zakłady Chemiczne Soda Mątwy and Janikowskie Zakłady Sodowe Janikosoda was one of the key measures taken to develop the Ciech Chemical Group. These plans have ensured a leading position for the company in the soda ash market with a 98% share in Poland and it is considered a well-respected player in the chemical sector of Central Europe... Silicates & Glass Division The Silicate and Glass Division has operated since December 1st, 2007. It has been separated from the FosChem Division. It is based on Vitrosilicon, the manufacturing company of Ciech. Appointment of the new division results from the Ciech Chemical Group strategy for 2007 - 2011 assuming acquisition of a strong position in the Polish glass-making industry...
