
The purchase of the domestic soda complex in 1996 consisting of Inowrocławskie Zakłady Chemiczne Soda Mątwy and Janikowskie Zakłady Sodowe Janikosoda was one of the key measures taken to develop the Ciech Chemical Group. Established in January 2007, the Organic Division is today the largest division of the Ciech Chemical Group. This project to create a separate division in charge of organic products came into being during preparations for floating of the Group on the stock exchange. In December 2006, after the purchases of Zakłady Chemiczne Zachem and Organika-Sarzyna had been finalised, the potential of the Ciech Group almost doubled. Acquisition of these companies contributed to expansion of the Ciech Chemical Group portfolio by products which ensure a leading position of the Group in the domestic market for epoxy resins, polyester resins, TDI, epichlorohydrin and plant protection agents...

The Agro & Silicates Division was established on September 1st, 2010 as a result of the merger of the Agro Division and the Silicates & Glass Division.
