The Agro Division, founded on December 1st, 2007 on the division of the FosChem Division, operates based on two manufacturing companies of Ciech. The two companies are Gdańskie Zakłady Nawozów Fosforowych Fosfory and Zakłady Chemiczne Alwernia.
Establishment of the Agro Division took place as a result of the Ciech Chemical Group strategy for 2007 - 2011, which provides for the creation of a strong position in sectors working for agriculture purposes. Income on sales of the Agro Division accounts for approx. 7.4% of the total income of the Group.
Following the example of other divisions, the division participates in the manufacturing company management through its marketing, sales, purchasing and logistics lines.
