The consolidated sales revenue of the Ciech Chemical Group reached PLN 2,981.2 million after three quarters of 2008. Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to PLN 265.8 million and net profit to PLN 113.8 million.

A letter of intent concerning acquisition of controlling block of Anwil’s shares was signed today. Signatories of this document were: Ciech SA, Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn SA (ZAK) and Zakłady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Mościcach S.A. (Azoty Tarnów).

Consolidated net profit of Ciech Chemical Group after two quarters of 2008 amounted to PLN 125 million, and revenues to PLN 2 billion 61 million. The results are consistent with prior assumptions.

Presidents of Zachem Anna Zarzycka and Krzysztof Kulik and the Presidents of Mostostal Puławy Andrzej Pruchniak and Agata Sajnaj have signed a contract on development of the TDI system. The approx. value of the investment will amount to PLN 80 million.
