More than ten investors are interested in buying Ciech Service, which provides security and maintenance services. The interested entities are mainly companies from the branch – wrote “Parkiet” magazine.
Several weeks ago Ciech sent invitations to negotiations concerning purchase of Ciech Service to several dozen entities. The announcement was also published at the company’s web page. It evoked a huge response. The interested entities received financial information regarding Ciech Service.
According to “Parkiet” magazine, more than ten investors expressed their will to purchase Ciech’s subsidiary. The potential purchasers of Ciech Service mentioned by the magazine included: Solid Security, Group 4, Impel, and Naftow owned by the state-owned Operator Logistyczny Paliw Płynnych company. The aforementioned companies were not willing to comment the speculations of the stock-exchange magazine. The negotiations are pending; the sale could take place this year.
Ciech Service provides people and property security and maintenance services. It also deals with real estate management. It handles more than one half of such type of orders of Ciech Group companies. In 2008, the company’s revenues accounted for PLN 6.9 million.
