We received the highest A rank in the Respect Rating, survey promoting companies with the highest standard of management
Respect Index is a new and unique project of the Stock Exchange and its partners. The purpose of it is to promote responsible management of public companies. The Warsaw Stock Exchange followed the example of Dow Jones Sustainability Index or the British FTSE4Good. The survey, which began in June and took place until August, included companies quoted at the Stock Exchange, except for NewConnect, foreign and dual listing companies, i.e. companies listed in Poland and abroad. The assessment criteria and questions contained in the survey were created on the basis of the international Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), which was adjusted to the Polish conditions and the prevailing economic atmosphere.
On the part of Ciech, the survey was participated in by the strategy and development, communication, management, legal offices, finance department, HR policy and organisation office, OHS department and individual divisions. After the survey, we were audited by Deloitte.
On the basis of the survey, the Respect Rating, index of socially responsible stock exchange-listed companies, was created. It shows responsibility of individual companies in respect of communication in the financial market, sustainable development and information governance. In addition to prestige and image, participation in such a project also provides the investors assessing the company with an important tool.
On November 19th, the rating list including 118 companies was published in the Listing Hall of the Stock Exchange, during seminar entitled Social responsibility at Stock Exchange-listed companies. Ciech was included in the sixteen companies with highest ratings which also included Azoty Tarnów.

The award was received by the president Ryszard Kunicki on behalf of our company.
