Integrated Quality, Information Security and Business Continuity Management System and Quality Assurance System according to the GMP+B3 standard
In order to meet the increasing requirements of the national and foreign customers, Ciech SA has implemented the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9002:1994 standard, which was confirmed in 1997 by the quality certificate issued by KEMA Quality B.V. The system was consistently developed and improved, which resulted in successful external audits carried out by KEMA Quality Polska Sp. z o.o. in the following years and the certificates obtained by the Company evidencing the compliance with:
• ISO 9001:2000 standard in the years 2004, 2007,
• ISO 9001:2008 standard in 2010.
The certificates include the commercial activities in the national and foreign markets involving chemicals, raw materials and related products.
In 2006, on the basis of integration of the Quality Management System applicable at the Company, the Quality Assurance System according to the GMP B2 standard was implemented.
After the GMP system was positively assessed by SGS Polska Sp. z o.o. in 2007, Ciech SA received the quality certificate registered by the Dutch association PDV (The Product Board Animal Feed) evidencing the compliance of the system with GMP B2 standard, and in 2009, after the recertification audit, evidencing the compliance of the system with the requirements of the amended GMP+ B3 standard.
The GMP+ B3 quality certificate authorises Ciech SA to sell products intended for feedstuff production in the GMP+ chain.
The scope of the GMP system at Ciech SA includes the purchase, sale and distribution of materials intended for feedstuffs, i.e. baking soda and soda ash.
Currently, facing the expectations of our customers, Ciech S.A. implements the Information Security and Business Continuity Management System according to the ISO 27001:2005 standard. In December 2009, the 1st stage of the system certification carried out by KEMA Quality Polska Sp. z o.o. was successfully completed.
