In order to create conditions appropriate to meet the increasingly higher requirements and expectations of domestic and foreign contractors, Ciech SA implemented a Quality System in 1997 compliant with the standards of ISO 9002:1994, which was confirmed under the quality certificate issued by KEMA Quality.
In 2003 the Management Board of Ciech SA took a decision on implementation of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System. The positive result the company obtained after the certification audit conducted by KEMA Quality, qualified Ciech SA to receive another quality certificate in 2004 confirming compliance of the system with the standards of ISO 9001:2000.
The scope of certification covers commercial activities in the domestic market and abroad associated with chemicals, raw materials and related products.
Alongside with the company's growth was the development of the Quality Management System.
2006 saw the process of implementing the GMP B2 Quality Assurance System begin. Development of the GMP B2 system was conducted based on integration with the existing Quality Management System. In 2007 after a positive assessment of the GMP system, carried out by SGS Polska, acquired due to the certification audit, Ciech SA received the quality certificate registered by the Dutch Association PDV (The Product Board Animal Feed).
Scope of the GMP B2 system in Ciech SA comprises purchase, sale and material distribution for animal feed purposes, namely baking soda and soda ash, and which opens brand new business opportunities for the company.
The GMP B2 quality certificate authorises Ciech SA to trade products intended for animal feed in the GMP+ chain.
