Integrated Quality Management, Information Security, Business Continuity and Quality Assurance System according to the GMP+B3 standard
In order to meet the increasingly higher requirements and expectations of domestic and foreign business partners, Ciech SA implemented a Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9002:1994 standard, which is confirmed by quality certificate issued by KEMA Quality B.V. in 1997.
The system was consistently developed and improved, which resulted in successful external audits carried out in subsequent years by KEMA Quality Polska Sp. z o.o. and the obtaining by the Company of certificates of compliance with:
- ISO 9001:2000 standard in the years 2004, 2007
- ISO 9001:2008 standard in 2009.
In 2011, due to a change of the certification company, the compliance of the Quality Management System of Ciech SA with ISO 9001:2008 standard was confirmed by a certificate granted by DEKRA Certification Sp. z o.o.
The certification procedure covers business activities in the domestic and foreign markets involving chemicals, chemical raw materials and related products.
Based on the integration with the Quality Management System operating at the Company, in 2006 the Quality Assurance System according to GMP B2 standard was implemented.
After the GMP system was positively assessed by SGS Polska Sp. z o.o. during the certification audit in 2007, Ciech SA obtained the quality certificate registered by Dutch Association PDV (The Product Board Animal Feed) confirming the system compliance with GMP B2 standard, and in 2009, after a recertification audit, the Company obtained a certificate confirming the system compliance with the requirements of updated GMP+ B3 standard.
The GMP+ B3 quality certificate authorises Ciech SA to trade in products for feedstuff purposes in the GMP+ chain.
The GMP system at Ciech SA covers purchase, sales and distribution of materials for feedstuff purposes, i.e. banking soda and soda ash, which creates new business opportunities for the company.
In order to meet the expectations of our customers, Ciech SA implemented an Information Security and Business Continuity Management System according to the ISO 27001:2005 standard.
The system certification procedure covers business activities in the domestic and foreign markets involving chemicals, chemical raw materials and related products pursued in the Company’s registered office in Warsaw.
