Graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, where he completed Master studies specializing in Quantitative Methods and Information Systems. He also completed PhD studies in the College of Enterprise Studies as well as postgraduate studies in “Value Based Management”.
Since August 2007, as Executive Director for Organization and Integration in ORLEN Group, he supervised realization of a complex program for managing the company’s value in AB Mazeikiu Nafta, carried out restructuring program for ORLEN S.A., and added coherence and strength to the management strategy for ORLEN GROUP. In the years 2005-2007 Financial Director and Member of The Board in Basell Orlen Polyolefins company, the biggest manufacturer of polyolefin in Poland, where he coordinated the financial aspect of the 2 and a half fold (2.5) production capacity extension in this Company (project worth 500 million EURO). Director of Financial Management Office in ORLEN S.A. in the years 2002-2005. Since 1997 till 2002 Manager of Market Economy Department (since 1998), earlier Financial Specialist in ORLEN S.A. In the years 1996-1997 worked in the Ministry of Finance. Since 1998 Member of supervisory organs of the companies belonging to ORLEN Group, including RN Unipetrol a.s., and of the Board of AB Mazeikiu Nafta.
In 2006 he became member of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA. Moreover, he completed courses in the scope of project finance, price risk management in oil industry and managerial abilities.
Robert Bednarski does not conduct competitive activity with relation to Ciech SA. He is not an associate in any competitive civil law partnership or private company and he is not a member of any organs in other legal persons, competitive against the Company. He has not been entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained on the basis of the National Court
Register Act.
