From June 21st, 2010 member of the Management Board of Ciech SA. He graduated from the Kraków Academy of Economics – Faculty for Production Economics. He also completed Postgraduate Accounting Studies. In the period 1980-1991, he worked at Elektromontaż 2 Kraków, where he was promoted as a director in charge of employee matters, economics and the chief accountant. In 1991, he won a competition for director of MPO and managed the said company until 1993. From 1994 to 1995 he was chief accountant at Orbis Hotel Holiday Inn. Later (1995) he was Vice-President of the Management Board of Mostostal Kraków Galicja SA. In the period 2000-2003, he was the general director of Tele-Fonika s.c., President of Tele-Fonika SA and vice-president of Tele-Fonika Kable SA. From 2004 to 2007 he was director of the Road and Communication Board in Kraków Municipal Council. In March 2007, he became vice-president of the Management Board of Krośnieńskie Huty Szkła SA and president of Industrial Glass Works in Tarnów. He worked in those positions until February 2009.
Andrzej Bąbaś is not engaged in any competitive activity against Ciech SA. He is not any shareholder of a competitive (civil law) partnership, is not a member of a body of a capital company of any other legal person competitive against the Company. His name is not in the Register of Insolvent Debtors, which is kept according to the Act on the National Court Register.
