The Ciech Chemical Group is one of the leaders of the European chemical market. It comprises more than 30 companies and counts itself among the 100 largest business organisations in Poland. The main products of the Group are: soda ash (the second largest producer in Europe) and TDI (number 1 on the Polish market), plant protection chemicals and phosphate fertilizers, as well as other basic chemicals which are used in glass, furniture, construction and food industries.
With an annual sales revenue of about PLN 3.5 billion, the Ciech Chemical Group outstrips other Polish chemical companies in ranking. Since February 2005 Ciech has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Its largest shareholder is the Treasury (36.7 %) and institutional investors, such as Pioneer Pekao Investment Management and Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny (Open Pension Fund) - PZU “Złota Jesień".
