The growth strategy of Ciech Chemical Group stresses the innovation and research and development activity. Implementation of strategic goals in this area is coordinated by Investment, Research ad Development Department.
In the year 2007 the outlays for innovation and development projects in Ciech Chemical Group amounted to PLN 87.4 million, i.e. 2.6 percent of the Group’s proceeds. In 2008 outlays for these projects increased by approximately 28 percent in relation to the preceding year - up to the level of over PLN 110 million – which is about 2.9 percent of the Ciech Chemical Group‘s proceeds. Almost PLN 75 million was spent on innovative projects in 2010 and this year the planned level of outlays for innovation – development undertakings amounts to almost PLN 170 million.
