The priorities of the Research and Development Office operating in Ciech and managed by Director Tadeusz Stokłosa, include:
- analysis and development of innovation initiatives in the manufacturing activity of the Group Companies within the Ciech strategy for 2008 - 2012
- development of a partnership profile with research and development units and schools of higher education,
- identification of opportunities to co-finance research and development projects with EU/domestic/regional aid funds
- development and implementation of an incentive system to support inventiveness and innovation.
Until January 2008 within the activity of the Research and Development Office, analysis of the companies' plans in terms of investments in the innovation and development activity could be made. Continuation of negotiations with the Specialized Research Institutes, the effect of which will be the conclusion of long-standing frame agreements on partnership to handle research and development projects, is another important process already in progress. Furthermore, development areas have been identified and analysed in terms of chances to apply for funding from the aid funds.
