Vitrosilicon is a well-known and appreciated manufacturer of glass and chemical products. The company’s range of products includes lamps and glass hollow bricks ClaroGlass, jars, glazed sodium and potassium silicate, soda and potassium water glass.
The company is the sole glass hollow brick manufacturer in Poland (with nearly 60% market share). Vitrosilicon operates three production facilities: in Iłowa, where the company’s board of directors is located and where glass hollow bricks, water glass and glass packaging are manufactured, in Żary, where glazed sodium and potassium silicates are manufactured, and in Pobiedziska near Poznań, where glass packaging is manufactured.
The products offered by the company are applied in, among others, the construction industry, household and industrial chemistry, paper and cardboard industry, cosmetic industry, foundry, water treatment sector and paint production.
The company has obtained ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 certificates and implemented the occupancy health and safety system in accordance with PN-N-18001 standard.
