Indirect share of Ciech SA in the share capital amounts to 100,00%
Soda Polska Ciech was established in 2007 as a result of contributions in kind made by Janikowskie Zakłady Sodowe Janikosoda and Inowrocławskie Zakłady Chemiczne Soda Mątwy in the form of their enterprises. Janikosoda acquired 46.49% of shares and Soda Mątwy 53.51% of shares in the share capital of Soda Polska Ciech.
Soda Polska Ciech operates within the Soda Division of Ciech. It is the only company in Poland and the second company in the European market that produces dense and light soda ash. It also manufactures wet and dry evaporated salt (including “Sól Kujawska”). It is the largest evaporated salt manufacturer in Poland. Other products manufactured by the company include, among others, baking soda, calcium chloride, precipitated chalk, absorbent masses, salt mixtures, nitrated curing salt, salt tablets, carbon dioxide. All aforementioned products are characterised by multifaceted applications in the industry. The main recipients of the products include international glass concerns, national glass works, detergent manufacturers, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, food industry, fodder industry and pharmaceutical industry, water treatment sector, and households.
The company has obtained ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, GMP+B2 certificates. It also applies HACCP.
