Ciech SA has won the prestigious competition - The Leader in Human Resource Management. We have been awarded "The Organisational Integration and Building the Group’s Identity” in the field of human resource management.

This distinction is a cause of even greater satisfaction when we take into account the relatively short time when Ciech undergoes transformation of fulfilling the personnel function towards a modern model of HR as a business partner”, says Grażyna Baka, Director of Ciech’s Human Resources Policy and Organisation Office.
The competition is organised by the Institute of Labour and Social Studies. For 9 years, members of the competition’s Award Committee have awarded companies, which consistently make their personnel policy more and more professional. Large enterprises awarded this year include Michelin Polska, DHL Polska, Tesco, BZ WBK. The winners of previous years’ included, for example, BRE Bank, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, ComputerLand, Sonion Polska. On 9th June, our company joined this elite group.
The achievements of Director Baka have been assessed this year by experts in the field of human resource management, including Minister of Labour and Social Policy, representatives of the National Bank of Poland, the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, the Polish Business Roundtable, and the Polish Human Resource Association.
The jury chooses the best companies in two stages: they appraise the self-assessment questionnaires sent by the companies, and then they analyse recommendations, which result from an external audit of the personnel function. Companies that create a modern HR model based on their own, unique solutions adjusted to the culture and oranisational structure of the company have a chance to be appreciated.
The fact that Ciech has been ranked among the companies famous for their good brand management is a huge success, whose authors are HR department employees as well as employees and managers who co-create the personnel policy of our Chemical Group.
