On June 15th Ciech was awarded the Polish Business Eagle 2011 for the best production company in Germany with the Polish capital. The official gala during which the statuettes were given took place in Gdańsk. During the Gala Ciech was represented by Artur Osuchowski, member of the Board of Directors.
The competition was organised by the Lech Wałęsa Institute Foundation and was announced in connection with the twentieth anniversary of the Polish-German treaty signed by the then prime minister Jan Krzysztof Bielecki and chancellor Helmut Kohl.
The awards were granted in five categories: commerce, construction and services, transport and logistics, production activity in Germany, IT and Grand Prix award.
The award committee included ambassadors of the Republic of Poland in Germany, advisers-ministers, members of the Board of Directors of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Germany and the President of the Lech Wałęsa Institute Foundation.
