Our company has been certified with “Lider Społecznej Odpowiedzilaności Dobra Firma 2011” certificate (“The Leader of Social Responsibility Good Company 2011”). This prize proves the status of Ciech Company, as a sensitive for environmental needs Company, which is worth to stay and to cooperate with. The program “Liderzy Społecznej Odpowiedzialności Dobra Firma 2011” is aimed to spread the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles.
Besides the certificate we’ve received the license and a graphic sign, which can be used for a period of one year on our documents, products and marketing materials.
CSR is an investment
CSR concept is an idea, that a company voluntarily includes public interest, environment protection and cooperation with different groups: clients, employees and public, into its strategy. The increase of positive society input and minimization of company’s activity negative results, are treated not as a cost, but as an investment to increase the competitiveness and possibilities of company’s development within long-time perspective. The “Forum Biznesu” Council, based on surveys and market analysis, pointed out institution, which meet basic principles of CSR concept. Following criteria have been assessed: company’s commitment regarding charity and sponsoring activities, realization of company’s policy as a good employer and other positive aspects of company’s activity, incl. environmental protection.
The patronage of 4th edition of this program was Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polish Academy of Sciences, with council members, among others, Prof. Ph.D. Henryk Domański from IFiS PAN and Mrs. Anna Biszkowiecka – chief editor of “Forum Biznesu”. At the end of this year’s edition the “Liderzy Społecznej Odpowiedzialności Dobra Firma 2011” program we’ve planned a discussion regarding Responsible Business in Poland. The program have been prepared by “Forum Biznesu”. We’re the leader of CSR concept completion!
