The Committee of The Best Annual Report 2010 competition chaired by Prof. Waldemar Frąckowiak, awarded Ciech for the best report on activities in the Enterprise category.
The idea behind the competition is to create recognised standards of preparation of annual reports according to IFRS/IAS, pursuant to the recommendations of IFAC and good practice in this respect, and to promote the companies preparing the best consolidated annual reports in accordance with IFRS/IAS from the viewpoint of usable value for the shareholders and investors.
The competition is addressed to all companies preparing consolidated annual reports in accordance with IFRS/IAS. These are mainly stock exchange-listed (Polish and foreign) companies and other companies obliged to prepare financial statement according to the International Accounting Standards from January 1st, 2005, often companies with foreign capital, as well as other companies voluntary preparing consolidated annual reports in accordance with IFRS/IAS willing to prepare a reliable annual report for its stakeholders.
